We hold quality assurance and environmental standards ISO9001 and ISO14001, which means that all of our processes are monitored and audited throughout the project lifetime to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the specification and agreed standards.
Health and Safety
At G&L we are focussed on maintaining the highest standard of Health and Safety. We continually look to eradicate risk to our operatives, site visitors and members of the public when we undertake any project.
We hammer home the importance of safety from the very beginning of each operatives induction and this never ends. We provide continual training, be it new or a refresher, and offer performance incentives for those that continually reach our safety objectives.
All of our site managers are CITB SMSTS trained, UKATA Asbestos Awareness and First Aid trained. Furthermore, all operatives receive mandatory training on high risk activities such as Manual Handling and Working at Height.
We employ 3rd party accredited Health and Safety Managers who have the appropriate up-to-date qualifications and relevant industry experience. They regular visit our sites and carry out-spot checks and audits, all designed to help us continually improve our safety standards. Each report they file is logged and acted upon. We are certified by CHAS, whilst our 3rd party Managers are certified by numerous SSIP members organisations.
